In case you missed it, this website is a joke. Although my Dog has expressed interest in and is obsessed with running, he has no idea what politics is. The only kind of running I have ever seen him do is just for fetch or weird animals he doesn't recognize. He is quite passionate, but the only real work he knows how to do is guard the house, guard the chickens, police the cat, guard the family, fetch, and snuggle, he doesn't have any answers to, well, things like healthcare or anything like that. This website is for fun, but the causes it will link to, are quite serious.
This website was inspired by the phrase "everyone and their dog will run for office". If that's not a phrase, it is now. This website is meant to poke fun at all the randos that run for office... Basically, if my dog is running a better campaign then you, don't quite your day job. This website is part of a facebook page by the same name.
While the website is certainly a joke, the causes it will link to for donation certainly aren't. It's my hope that you will find regularly rotated links to charities that do great things for animals in need. Animals make the world a better place and if this website can help out with that in anyway, then it's done its job. Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have enjoyed your visit.
